Carolyn * Exported from MasterCook * Gurkensalat (Cucumber Salad) Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 large cucumbers 2 tablespoons cider vinegar 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt -- (1/2 to 1) 1/4 teaspoon pepper 3/4 cup sour cream 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley Peel cucumbers and cut into very thin slices. Mix together vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper and pour over cucumbers. Marinate about 20 minutes to an hour but no more than that; drain off liquid, toss cucumbers with sour cream, then top with fresh parsley and serve.
