I'm glad you joined our group too. Hugs! I like your idea of roasting the veggies before putting into a gravy. That sounds delicious. I hope your Christmas Open House turns out great! Let us know what all you decide to make, so we can be inspired. We are having several potlucks that we are going to the rest of this month, Maybe I'll make the potpie for one of them. It is delicious! Judy Re: Vegetable Fri-Chik Pot Pie - Recipe Repost Thanks so much for all those Fri-Chik recipes, especially the pot pie. I've found that if I oven roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips and onions and then add them to the gravy (which also profits from the liquid from the baking pan) all the flavors are richer. I also oven roast vegetables before simmering them to make vegetable stock. Thanks again for sharing the recipes. I'm so glad I joined this list!
