Guest guest
I have been watching 'Christina Cooks' on the Create channel and her second season has been makeovers of old comfort food recipes. It's been very interesting but I was wondering if anyone out there has her book Cooking the Whole Foods Way and what they thought of it. The one thing that bothers me when she cooks is the amount of salt in her recipes but I was wondering if they are simple to follow in print or call for a lot of ingredients not readily available to the average person. We have a couple small health food stores locally but anything larger is at least an hour away in any direction. Our local groceries and discount stores have been carrying Bob's Red Mill products the last few years and TVP is one of them usually stocked. I even saw quinoa flour in the grocery store last time but held off until I actually had a recipe for it due to lack of room in my small freezer. Thanks for all your help!
