Guest guest
I had the same problem. I wasn't lucky enough to receive a refund though. I lost out big time bucks on it. I can't even stand to see the word Aerogarden after that ordeal. I saved the receipt and retuned it, it even rasied my electric bill $12. I followed the directions perfectly too. They gave me the money back, the clerk told me they sold 10 and 8 came back so far. Don't weaste your time or money on it. > Get some pots, soil and grow your herbs the old fashioned way. I have herbs in small pots on my patio. Guest guest
My roommate bought one last year. The light was so bright I needed sun glasses in the house, the electric bill went up considerably and the thing grew about 2 inches of parsley and nothing else sprouted. He took such care of it, you would have thought it was a newborn baby. I had a good laugh over that, he still gets upset when I bring it up. Guest guest
Drats. The cats really wanted it for sunbathing. I can grow anything outside but this house is so dark the only things that will grow other than my waistline is mold and mildew. I'd love to get a grow light and do some herbs inside but every time someone buys a grow light done here the police assume they are growing Cannabis sativa rather than Ocimum basilicum. God forbid I try growing Cleome in the yard. The last time the drug helicopter went over I think they were low enough to count the buds on my roses. I still want the aerogarden. Maybe I could take the grow lights out and turn it into a really odd looking computer. There are some neat neon lights I could put around the top and lighted feet and there would be plenty of room for the hard drives...hmmmm. It would be a stinker getting all the cables stuck where they wouldn't be so visible. Worth a thought. Le sigh. AAaaaaaaaand as of two hours and thirty four minutes ago my computer is full with just under a TB of files so I've got to order a couple more TB drives...Western Digital or Hitachi? Hmmmmm.....think think. Nighty night, Jeanne in GA
Guest guest
Oh I can totally see cats lying on top of the herbs to get to the warm light! And maybe nibbling on the herbs, too... Guest guest
ha ha! too funny! just get a clip on desk lamp and replace the light bulb with a corkscrew fluorescent light bulb that doesn't use much energy. the plants love those.
