Guest guest
Tee-hee! I'm thinking wicked, but not cruel thoughts, here! Cats can't eat chocolate, but what about carob? Ever tried baking little carob brownies infused with catnip??? Rather like those infamous " pot brownies " I've heard about but have NEVER indulged in! ( " Kitty! You're HIGH! WHAT have you been eating!? " ) MY cats love catnip, too, but I have never gotten any past the small-stemmed stage! Even fairly large plants that I've purchased whole from garden centers, planted, even PROTECTED with " domes " --they got at and ate clear to the soil line! And sometimes, they've even rollled in the dirt and nearly uprooted the plants just wallowing on top of them! My girlfriend who lives on a farm has lots of wild catnip growing. I wish she lived closer than 2 1/2 hrs away--I'd beg to be allowed to dig up some of that hearty wild stuff and stick it in my yard in SEVERAL places--maybe if I had a HUGE mass of it growing, I could get some catnip established before it's raided by my 4, and by 4 or more of the neighbors' cats! Laura B., in Illinois Oh yeah, and I had some catnip in a huge flowerpot once, too--that became the prime lolling around spot for a couple of the cats--who came back into the house all dirty and grimy from lying in the dirt!
