Steamer - Braised Napa Cabbage and Unfried Rice

I tried the steamer last night, and am very impressed. I've never had rice so

good.

 

Braised Napa Cabbage

 

4 C thinly sliced cabbage

1 green onion (white and green part), sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

1 tsp. sesame oil

 

Mix ingredients together and divide among two bowls. Steam 25 minutes.

 

Unfried Rice

 

1 cup jasmine rice

1 1/4 c vegetable stock or water

1 greeen onion, sliced

Good handful of petite peas

1/8 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

 

 

Combine all in steamer bowl. Steam 40 minute. Serve with 1/4 cup scrambled egg

beaters, chopped fine and low-sodium soy sauce.
