Guest guest Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 Stir-Fried Sesame Vegetables 2 tablespoons sesame oil 1/2 cup sliced fresh broccoli florets 1/4 cup diagonally sliced celery 2 cups chopped bok choy, stems and leaves 1/2 cup thinly sliced onions 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 turns freshly ground black pepper 1/2 cup red bell pepper strips 1/2 cup fresh bean or sunflower sprouts 1/2 cup water 1 teaspoon soy sauce Heat 1 tablespoon of the sesame oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the celery and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the bok choy, onions, salt, and pepper and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the bell peppers and bean sprouts and stir-fry for 1 minute. Stir in the water, soy sauce, and the remaining 1 tablespoon sesame oil, and remove from the heat. Serve immediately.
