By the way, anyone here vegan that I can chat with privately? I have questions. Thanks! Melissa
Guest guest
Interesting topic. I do not recognize the name or packaging. I will have to keep an eye on this in Indiana here. Not sure where it's sold.  Ted ================================================== " Board rooms are like bathrooms. Guest guest
Whole Foods carries it, definitely. Some of your grocery store health food sections might carry it. Do you have HyVee in Indiana? I know it's in Ks, Mo, Ia, not sure where else... Audrey On Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 5:54 AM, Ted Wagner <trwagner1 wrote: > > > Interesting topic. Guest guest
I've heard of HyVee but there are none where I live. We have one Whole Foods store but it can be quite a trip there from where I live. I live near Indianapolis on a side of town where fast food rules. The closest " organic/healthy " store is a mom-and-pop type vitamin store with a handful of food products. Fortunately, the Whole Foods market I am familiar with is on the same side of town as Trader Joe's. So, when I make my once every three month trip to TJ's I'll have to go a bit further and check out Whole Foods for Quorn. Thanks for the tip! Guest guest
Ted, Where in Indiana do you live? There are a couple or so Whole Foods Market stores in Indy, I am pretty sure. My sister lives in Noblesville, and somewhere in that vicinity (Castlton? Fishers? Carmel? Zionsville?--or close there-abouts--is a Whole Foods and maybe a second one, as well. (I think one of them used to be Wild Oats Market, but Whole Foods purchased it). I have not been to these stores, but I also know there are several health food stores in the greater Indy area, too. I grew up in central Indiana myself (Indianapolis suburbs and near Lafayette, to the north of there). I love driving back to that area to see my sister and parents, who live to the north of the city now. It's also cool, if I have time, to stop at some of the health food stores or a Whole Foods when I go there (IF I have time!) to see what THEY have available. I live in the barren heartland of Illinois where neat places to shop for interesting foods are scarce! If you are near a Whole Foods or some larger health food store (that carries frozen foods), you can find Quorn products pretty readily. Some Kroger stores have an " organic " food section where it might be found, and I wouldn't be surprised if the " Marsh " stores carried it as well. Best wishes! --Laura B., in Illinois Re: Quorn Interesting topic. I do not recognize the name or packaging. I will have to keep an eye on this in Indiana here. Not sure where it's sold.
