Note: I'm having this for lunch and it is one of my favorite spreads.

 

Black Olive -Pecan Spread

 

1 six ounce can black olives-drained and finly chopped

2 green onions- finly chopped (I use the bulb and apx.1/2 of the

tender green part)

2 garlic cloves-crushed

1/2 Cup crushed Pecans (I mince mine in my coffee grinder so it is

spreadable)

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1/8 teaspoon ea. Thyme,Oregano,and Rosemary

2 Tablespoons fresh Parsley- chopped

1 Tablespoon fresh Basil-chopped

1/8-1/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

1/8 teaspoon Tumeric

Sea Salt to taste

 

Add all ingredients. Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow

flavors to blend. Serve on bread or crackers
