Guest guest
Hey folks, Its the first real blustery day of the season here in Michigan! I decided to turn on the oven instead of the heat, so I'm spending all day in the kitchen. I started rising some pizza dough for later and now i'm on to cookies! Just got " The Joy of Vegan Baking " by Colleen Patrick-goudreau. Gonna bake some basic chocolate chip and some sugar cookies in the shape of leaves for my son Silas to decorate when he gets home from school! Yay cookies!!!! I think I may also make some beet-ginger soup for freezing. Just so the stove doesen't feel left out. Plus I have a crap load of beets that I need to do something with! Yay soup!!! For breaks I am practicing " 1970 " by the Stooges on my bass......what a great day! Hope everybody else is haveing a good one! -cort

Guest guest
It's been about 12 or 13 degrees here (56-58 ish) and we have a chilly wind this morning. It's quite nice to have a more normal winter than the ones we have had in recent years. We've had about a dozen frosts so far. Guest guest
Bunnies!! I used to own a car and work first shift in a factory. I quit that job and got rid of the car when spring hit and the bunnies showed up......nothing worse than rolling over a bunny with your car. crunch! not a nice way to start the day. SO now I ride my bike or walk to work....much better.
