We started our day with a bowl of porridge (mmmmmmmm) before going out in

the pouring rain to collect sprigs of holly! For lunch I made some leek and

potato soup which we had with Colin's homemade spelt bread. We went out

this evening and had vegetable fritters with mango chutney, followed by

chestnut roast with cranberry sauce and sauteed vegetables, followed by

Christmas pudding and ice cream. We go to the Riverside Vegetaria every

year for a pre-Yule dinner :-) We also go there for special occasions like

birthdays, engagements etc.
