they haven't had pull tabs here for quite a number of years....

they originally started to be phased out in the late 70's and slowly went away through out the 80's

well...when they first made cans for beer and soda, they had no openings, so you had to use what was called a "churchkey"

but..anyways...no, there are push tabs....

pull tabs came off when you opened the can (also called ring tabs)..so they did away with em..first by testing out button tabs, then by brining in push tabs,,,,,

It's good to have a passion about something. I think that I collect

books. Although not on purpose for some reason they just accumulate.

My little boy who is 5 now, collects beer, soda and all kinds of

bottle caps. They are always in his pockets and it is annoying when

you want to do the laundry.

The really nice part is that he makes Art with them by pasting them

onto paper. He is so proud and he gets real excited when he finds an

obscure one.

Hi jo and everyone,

I used to live in florida about 8 months ago an then I couldn't take

it anymore so I left with my 5 year old boy for manhattan to live

with my mom. I have a job here and I am trying to save up for an

apartment.I have looked in chelsea, soho, greenwhich village, but

everthing is too expensive so it takes a while to get your own place.

Sorry I don't write so often. I don't have my own computer and at

work they don't like people going on the internet. I am still vegan

and my little boy too. Meanwhile I found an injured pigeon on the

street (unable to fly) which I am helping to take care of. She sleeps

next to me in a pet box.

cheers!
