Guest guest Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, crushed 500 g (1 lb) broccoli, cut into small florets 3 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons slivered almonds, oven toasted 1 garlic clove, crushed 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger 1 tablespoon cider or red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari 2 teaspoons sesame oil Heat the oil in a wok or a large frying pan. Add the coriander seeds, stir quickly for 30 seconds to release the aroma; then add the almonds, garlic, ginger and broccoli to the pan. Stir-fry over high heat for 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat. Pour the combined vinegar, soy sauce and oil into the pan. Toss until the broccoli is well coated. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
