Guest guest
For anyone in NY area: Come out to Williamsburg on Sunday, March 30th and connect with your inner bike-riding crusty punk vegan child. Fast food joint Foodswings will be celebrating its 4th year of "destroying the perception that vegan food is bland and fancy." They'll be serving 3 menus, simultaneously, for the entire day: the regular menu, the midnite munchies menu, and the long absent brunch menu! There will be free giveaways from a bunch of bike shops, record labels, and vegan companies (including Vegan Honey Bake Shop and Mrs. Tattoed Geeks Soy Candles), hourly specials, and "the usual surprises and shenanigans that you've come to know and love from the maniacal Foodswings family!"ABC's Eyewitness News weatherman Sam Champion proclaimed Foodswings wings to be "some of the best fried chicken [he] ever ate!" No word yet on if he'll make an appearance on Sunday, but my fingers are crossed that this is one of the surprises they're referring to.
