Guest guest
ooooh, I love cumin. I added it to the wheat-corn muffins I made the other day, along with cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom. I also like black cumin (nigella). I added it to my last batch of oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookies, along with chipotle and the usual seasonings. Guest guest
Chipotle is smoked and dried jalapeno peppers -- I buy it ground up. It's spicy but not as hot as other types of chili. I got some because some of the interesting recipes in one of Dreena Burton's cookbooks called for it, and I liked it. I've used it in hummus, too. I lke to make cookies with a lot less sweetener and some unexpected hot, spicy flavors. At 7:55 PM +0100 4/25/08, jo wrote: Ooh you're making me hungry. What is chipotle?
