Police have turned their report over to the District Attorney's Office, Sgt. Tim Varney said Thursday. Varney said the .22 caliber bullet went through the woman's trailer, striking her in the right side. The bullet then bounced off her leg and was found lying next to the chair. Varney identified the allege shooter as Chad Murrat, 18, of Lubec. According to the Maine State Police's Weekly Report on June 12, the 18-year-old neighbor was target practicing near the woman's trailer when he noticed a frog in a nearby pond. He fired two rounds at the frog.
