I'm a wine gal myself. I was thrilled when I found out that Yellow Tail is vegan, because their pinot noir is fab for the price!

Worship as in yes, like any other religion.

And yes, there are people who worship the Roman gods also (not all of them are the same).

I'm a Greek polytheist. I'd describe myself more as either syncretic or "intelligently eclectic". I don't really mix 'n' match, just fill holes. :)

I know someone who worships Roman gods... I don't know much about the practicalities of it, as I've never asked, but there are a few of them about :-)

I don't think that would be good for anyone. Nobody to keep the conversation alive?I was just thinking that I personally don't know how to butt into a conversation. I still like reading everything. Do any of you live in Texas? I live in San Antonio. My daughter (age 15) just came back from Germany. (Stuttburg) and she said it wasn't vegan friendly at all. I know some of you live in Europe. Where is everyone?jo <jo.heartwork Sent: Thursday,

Thanks. LOL - does everyone sing in the shower/bath?

I usually have music going through my mind, and sometimes sing

quietly (apart from at concerts when I sing as loud as I can). I

have an Opeth tune on my mind at present, but I don't know the words,

but one line sounds like 'tea and tomatoes', which I know it is not.

I shall have to look up the lyrics!

Hi

Just butt in - really. It doesn't matter whether you are replying to

a post a week old, or brand new. As you will have noticed, I can't

help but butt in!

I live in England, but have visited Germany and it was pretty dire -

even the vegetable soup apparently has bacon in it. Luckily we were

self-catering, but it would have been nice to eat out. Did your

Hi Beatriz

I think there may be different songs with the same name... or possibly someone covered it in the mid 1980s. The one I know was done by Bobby McFerrin... and I'm very impressed that I can remember the name!

Hi Peter,Hm, seems to be the same song, and as per wiki and if I got it right it was written by Bobby McFerrin. So, You are absolutely right. Bob Marley may have interpreted it as well. Here goes a link to youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjnvSQuv-H4 & amp;feature=relatedEnjoy:)Extremely Bright Blessings to You, too :)Beatriz--- On Fri, 6/27/08, Peter <metalscarab wrote:Peter <metalscarabRe: Question about amt. of "viable" members here Date: Friday, June 27, 2008, 5:10 AM

She had a great time. She was visiting friends from here that were over there in the military. Her friend lives off post, but they were aware she was vegan before having her out there, so they made sure she had food. Just like you though, they had a hard time eating out. She went to the black forest and ordered something in one of the eateries and they told her there was no way to "veganize" anything. They wouldn't even server salad with the meat on the side. That's good, at least she had good food, and somewhere friendly to

stay. We went to the Black Forest area, and once to Bavaria, but

never found any vegan food. Maybe it will happen eventually.

Not all, but working on it! The current one is my favorite. He is quite squee.

I'm a Greek polytheist. I'd describe myself more as either syncretic or "intelligently eclectic". I don't really mix 'n' match, just fill holes. :)

HI Gaya

Stephen Moffat has written some really good ones - my favourite was'Blink'. If we get more of that sort of thing it should be really good. I watched Doctor Who from the beginning, but tailed off a bit at the end of Patrick Troughton, beginning of Jon Pertwee. I think my favourite story from the old series' was The Daemons.

Re: Re: Question about amt. of "viable" members here

From the old school, Always Tom Baker. Technically I'm young enough that McCoy was my Doctor but my parents showed us lots of re-runs. Baker always got the best storylines (he wins for "Genesis of the Daleks" alone). From the new doctors... it took me a very long time to get there, because I was very protective of my fandom, but this season I got to the point where Tennant was my doctor.* I'm very impressed with Stephen Moffat's episodes, and looking forward to him taking over the reigns next season. :DGaya*Incidentally, he's a fantastic actor, and hopefully come November he will be my Hamlet as well *squee*

:-) Who is your favourite Doctor? I think my favourite is now David Tennant, as he seems to have mannerisms from all the previous Doctors - but I have liked them all.

I like him because he mixes little bits from the other Doctors into his character.

I have an acquaintance at work who is a Greek polytheist. It's quite a while since I thought about exactly what I am. I think eclectic is probably the right description.
