Hi everyone!I'm Andrea, and I hail from the Greater Boston area where I work as a computer programmer. I've been mostly vegan for the past two and a half years with some occasional ovo-lacto relapses. I recently made the decision to go full on vegan, including lifestyle, and figured I'd chat with others and get good conversation as well as advice and tips.

My interests include reading, writing, scifi (especially Doctor Who, Torchwood, Star Trek, Babylon 5, and Star Wars), fantasy, anime, yoga, and collecting as many toys in my fandoms as humanely possible.:)

I'm 30 going on 16.:D-- Email: bluerose156AIM: A Blue Rose 156 YM: blue_rose_156http://x-bluerose-x.livejournal.com

You sound just like me! What anime? I'm currently loving Naruto and Bleach (and Yu Gi Oh, for my sins). Also what fantasy... are we talking sword and sorcery?

I have been to both places and they ROCK. I've also enjoyed Veggie Planet, My Thai, and TJ Scallywagg's.

Christopher's in Porter Sq is omni but exceptionally vegan friendly, as is Johnny D's in Davis SQ.

I live in " West Mehfid " . :)

Yup! I've done high tea over at this place in Waltham some months back. Great stuff! They even went out of their way to provide a vegetarian tray.

I'm big on tea. I love, chai, darjeeling, and this blend of tea I got at Teavana with Six Summits Oolong and Lemon Mate Blast mixed with stevia. Oohh....

Hi Andrea

Do you do yoga regularly? I haven't done it for years - probably couldn't do half of what I used to anyway :-) I think that doing it when I was younger did me a lot of good though. It was through reading a yoga book that I first found out that some people were vegetarian!

Yup! I go to yoga class about 4-6 times a week, in fact. It's invaluable for my bad back, IBS, weight loss/maintanence, and keeping low stress levels. Good stuff!

It's very rare that I'm in the middle of reading something unless it's a huge novel like Harry Potter. Usually I read things in one sitting. :)I don't recall the last time I've been able to read for leisure purposes, sadly. I've been fairly busy as of late. I caught the " Twilight " book that people were getting their panties in a bunch about, and didn't find it too bad.

My favorite anime is Revolutionary Girl Utena. I also enjoy Vampire Princess Miyu, Here is Greenwood, Evangelion, Escaflowne, Tenchi Muyo, and a ton of others.

All types of fantasy, really...definitely a magick gal tho!

I have liked them all, and sometime will watch them one after the

other :-) I'm really looking forward to the remaining ones.

I was rather amused a couple of years ago when we went to the

international Witchfest, and to start the opening ceremony they

played the Harry Potter music - strangely enough, it set the scene

perfectly.

Hi everyone!I'm Andrea, and I hail from the Greater Boston area where I work as a computer programmer. I've been mostly vegan for the past two and a half years with some occasional ovo-lacto relapses. I recently made the decision to go full on vegan, including lifestyle, and figured I'd chat with others and get good conversation as well as advice and tips.My interests include reading, writing, scifi (especially Doctor Who, Torchwood, Star Trek, Babylon 5, and Star Wars), fantasy, anime, yoga, and collecting as many toys in my fandoms as humanely possible.:)I'm 30 going on 16.:D-- Email: bluerose156@ gmail.comAIM: A Blue Rose 156 YM: blue_rose_156http://x-bluerose- x.livejournal.
