Guest guest
One of my tomato plants has started to wilt at the tips of the stems :- ( They have been watered every day and the other plants are fine. Do any of you gardeners have an idea what might have caused this? Jo

Guest guest
has it been really hot? i assume no obvious sign of bugs are all the branches wilting, or just some? check the base...is it secure (don't snap it or twist, just gently tug at the base), something might have gotten to the roots or, you might have a fungal wilt heartwerk Jul 16, 2008 10:32 PM Tomato plant One of my tomato plants has started to wilt at the tips of the stems :-( They have been watered every day and the other plants are fine. Guest guest
Too much water! I water mine once every week to 10 days. Usually tomatoes prefer infrequent deep watering, though one of my neighbors in the community garden has a drip irrigation system that waters everything daily for a few minutes and they're doing fine. Guest guest
Hi Fraggle I've been away for a long weekend, didn't get back until after dark last night. I'll have a look this evening to see what is happening with it, and get back to you. JO
