Guest guest
I was thinking the other day that I'm still discovering new foods, or finding new ways to eat food, after (mumble) years. In the past week, I enjoyed another bowl of sweet, crunchy baked onions. I discovered this treat after planting some " sweet " (vidalia or walla walla) onions in my garden and harvesting huge ones earlier this year. I'd eaten small amounts of onions before, of course, but hadn't imagined they could be so good by themselves with nothing added. What new foods have you discovered? With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably. Guest guest
I was traveling and they were having lasagne, so I made my own below Light spread of spaghettie sauce, then zuchini slices, then one layer of lasagne noodles, then thick layer of chopped fresh spinach, then single layer of noodles and more sauce. I had it with a multi-greens salad with only balsamic vinegar. The lasagne was fat free and very good. Next time I am going to add a layer of mushrooms and maybe try eggplant on the bottom.
