Hi, Trish ... thanks for the congrats! I read that some bees are

squashed during honey harvesting. Honey substitute goes on the list!

Whole Foods will greet me at the door soon!

We have a new Whole Foods Store - just opened. I was not aware of a substitute honey??

Well, before a thread goes awry, there is no substitute for honey that I know

about.

Wistful thinking, of course.

 

I've enjoyed my first day of chat. Ever. I guess I just had to wait for the

Glad you're enjoying the group.

 

The closest I've found to honey is some of the organic syrup brands

(at least in the UK). They're not exactly the same, but they do have a

honey-like taste.

The dark Agave nectar is a good sub in my opinion.

Brown rice syrup also has a similar texture and sweetness.
