Guest guest
i know beer is your goal, but i think italy is the go to place for traveling. you should be able to get a decent amount of vegan pastas in restaraunts, and their delis will keep you well stocked too. i always urge european travellers to go to turkey. food will be tough but doable (i got by fine as a vegetarian 10 years ago), and efes is a fine national beer (but that's about it); well, here's a page on the subject: http://www.turkeytravelplanner.com/details/Food/Beers.htmlthe country is (was?) dead cheap and super friendly. of course, there is that little situation going on with turkey's neighbor that might give you second thoughts.... blake On Fri, Aug 8, 2008 at 2:09 PM, echolike <echolike wrote: What about Holland?--- On Fri, 8/8/08, fraggle <EBbrewpunx wrote: fraggle <EBbrewpunx Re: Europe Date: Friday, August 8, 2008, 1:11 PM i said no islands, UK or otherwise to hard to get to, tube is expensive belgium is wonderful, but we did that last year. might be into something else danish beers are fine... And President Bush supporting this lie by the Turkish government in order to maintain military bases in Turkey and keep them from attacking the Kurds in Northern Iraq. Which they of course, turned around and attacked anyway. I have Turkish friends-but you could not pay me enough to set foot in Turkey.
