Guest guest
Why is it that people often want to eat the local wild life when they travel? Here (in Grand Cayman) people eat green sea turtles. These beautiful, peaceful creatures are sold all around the island as burgers, soup, and other dishes. In the store, they have turtle patties displayed below the photo of a beautiful, and very much alive, sea turtle. Hey, if we switch to eating people, couldn't that save the planet? , Peter VV <swpgh01 wrote: > > I post things like that to keep everyone vegan! > > Â > Peter vv > >

Guest guest
But which people would we eat? and aren't people animals just as much as any other species? Guest guest
We could eat the people that are dying every day anyway. I was just following the logic of the article. Humans don't make as much methane as cows because they have a " different " digestive system, so eating humans is " better " for the environment than eating cows, or something. I suppose, if we really want to help the environment, we'd take out the humans that are causing the most environmental damage and eat them, but then we'd need a committee to decide on ways to measure personal environmental damage. I tried to use this logic on a classmate who said that hunting the deer in America was the only kind thing to do because they are overpopulated. Again, couldn't that just as easily apply to humans? Would it be kind to hunt for humans or any other overpopulated species? How do people latch onto these ideas? Human " logic " is completely beyond me. ~F , " jo.heartwork " <jo.heartwork wrote: > > But which people would we eat? and aren't people animals just as much as any other species? > > Jo > > - > Faith > > Sunday, August 10, 2008 4:08 PM > Re: Eat ... anything local and wild > > > Why is it that people often want to eat the local wild life when they > travel?
