CAMPAIGN TO SAVE THE VEGAN TRADEMARK

Plamil is campaigning to save the integrity of the Vegan Trademark, the ‘vegan symbol’. The symbol no longer means what vegans think it means following new criteria set by the Vegan Society. The Vegan Society’s new criteria now allows a ‘may contain milk/eggs/fish’ statement to be used alongside the Vegan Trademark! We at Plamil are campaigning to get the Vegan Society to revert to the historical vegan definition ‘as far as is reasonably practicable’. If you agree please let us and the Vegan Society know! Find out more at www.plamilfoods.co.uk/trademark.htm or email your comments to us at contact-us
