Don't be alarmed: The giant vegetables are not a political statement. They are part of LUSH Cosmetics' celebration of World Vegan Day on Saturday, during which the entire company is going vegan. Though LUSH sells nothing but vegetarian and vegan products, the company estimates about 80 percent of its 824 employees are meat-eaters. Still, the company's shop assistants, managers, directors and owners have agreed to go meatless for a day, as well as dropping dairy and evading the edible egg.
