This makes a big heaping pot and is great for a potluck or cold winter's night served with salad and some warm rolls. Mulligan Stew ================== 1 sm to med head cabbage sliced in thin 1/4 " strips 4-5 carrots chopped 2 celery stalks chopped 1 large onion chopped 2-3 cloves chopped 1 bag frozen green beans 1 red or green pepper chopped 2 medium zucchini 1/4 sliced 1 can of chic peas or bean of your choice drained 1 large can of diced tomato 3 medium potatoes sliced thin 1 tbsp of gravy master 1/4 cup vinegar 1/2 tsp dried sage 1 tsp caraway seeds 2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 1/2 package of meal starter crumbles 1/2 tube of gimme lean sausage 1 cup of veggie broth 2 cups seasoned stuffing croutons 2 tbsp olive oil ===================================== - Pre-heat oven 400' F - In dutch oven assemble vegetables and beans and toss with seasonings, gravy master, tomato and vinegar - Place in oven covered and cook for 1 hour - In the mean time combine croutons and broth - Mix croutons with meal starter crumbles and sausage until well blended. Fry in olive oil in non-stick skillet until it resembles scrambled hamburger - Remove dutch oven and check vegetable tenderness. - Toss in sausage mixture Enjoy!
