This product is manufactured by Swan Gardens/Tree of life in Austell, GA. Because there may be undeclared milk protein in this cheese substitute, people having an allergy or sever sensitivity to milk protein are at risk for serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the Vegan Rella Cheddar Block. The only block of products subject to recall are ones with a sell date by 12/09/2008. It packaged in 8 oz packages and has the UPC Code 0 37983 00015 4. Vegan Rella Cheddar block was sold directly in retail stores nationwide. One incident of an allergic reaction with the consumption of this product has been reported. If you are someone who has purchased this product, please return it to the place of purchase to receive a full refund. FDA directs consumers with questions to call (800) 494-8839 ext. 425.
