The bacon stores well and is good to have around. 3 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1½ teaspoons tamari ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke 8 ounces tempeh, sliced 1/8-inch thick 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the liquid ingredients together. 2. Brush the bottom of the baking sheet with some of the mixture, then lay the tempeh slices on the sheet.
