Guest guest
Made a cabbage soup yesterday and didn't have enough green cabbage so tossed in half of a red one. Made a delightful pink soup. I couldn't finish my bowl because the color put me off. It probably should have been obvious to most people, but I didn't think about color transfer until it was too late. Just thought I'd give you something humorous to read amongst all of the serious stuff.

Guest guest
Ugh. Thanks for the tip. I have been planning on making some cabbage soup for a while now and this sounds just like something I would do too. I remember asking her if there was any watermelon left one winter, and she said it was all used up, and the rinds were gone too. And then when I was 8, my aunt told me it was borscht (beet soup).
