i know disneyland and disneyworld use to be really really bad, but i'd heard they'd made significanrt progress in veggie and vegan options being available at their parks. i know there's a book dedicated to finding veg food at disneyworld and the locale.

and well, for the other thing...just like anything esle you decide to do in life that is different from what is "normal" for you and your's, it will take a bit of education and learning as you go. we live in a world were animal products and their suffering are ubiquitos.

and oh man, if i ate anything with cheese on it, i'd be ralphin all over mickey mouse.....

cheers

It's pretty hard to be completely vegan in today's society. For me, Ido the best I can with what I have. For instance, my husband and Iwent to DisneyWorld in Oct. while we were in FL. One of the parksdidn't have ANYTHING vegan where we were so if I wanted to eat it wasa cheese pizza for me. As much as I didn't want to eat it, I'd rathereat vegetarian than not eat at all. Now I know that I really need toprepare and plan when we go to places like this. I think many people don't realize what being vegan entails. No yogurt(unless soy), jello, m & m's, skittles, common hand soaps/cleaners,certain breads (whey), etc. You really get an education about what'sin your food when you become vegan.Debra
