Guest guest
Can you believe these results!! The Herald Sun is running on online poll (see link below) where they ask if its OK to encourage children to shoot animals. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25169732-2862,00.html Currently 85% say, yes because it is character building!!!!. only 9 % say no! http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/poll/display/1,22024,5038547-661-1,00.html
Guest guest
I just voted, and when they showed the results it had gone down to 8% against :-( It is very sad that adults are teaching their young to behave like this when there is no need for them to eat meat. Guest guest
I voted too. It's very sad that the parents think this is a good activity for children. The kids might not really be old enough to make that kind of decision for themselves. -Ann heartwerk Friday, March 13, 2009 12:30 AM Re: Herald Sun is running on online poll... please vote I just voted, and when they showed the results it had gone down to 8% against :-(It is very sad that adults are teaching their young to behave like this when there is no need for them to eat meat.Jo , "medlar13" <free wrote:>> Can you believe these results!!> > > > The Herald Sun is running on online poll (see link below) where they ask if its OK to encourage children to shoot animals. > > http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25169732-2862,00.html> > Currently 85% say, yes because it is character building!!!!.> only 9 % say no!> http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/poll/display/1,22024,5038547-661-1,00.html>---To send an email to -! Guest guest
Judging by the results I would guess the hunting groups have alerted their members and are stuffing the ballot box. You can vote as many times as you like if you clear out the cookies from news.com.au and www.news.com.au after each vote. If you just block their cookies the vote isn't counted. Hmmm, I wonder if someone told them in advance to get the results they wanted? pq arborhall wrote: I voted too. It's very sad that the parents think this is a good activity for children. Guest guest
I reckon that's true. I know when they had the countryside alliance protests in London about the ban on hunting with dogs, they laid on coaches for the farm workers etc. just to make sure they had plenty of people there.
