Support the Harb Seal Bill - End the Hunt

IFAW applauds a bill introduced today into the Canadian Senate by Senator Mac

Harb calling for an end to Canada's commercial seal hunt. This marks the first

time a Canadian politician has introduced legislation to put an end to the

largest remaining marine mammal slaughter in the world.

 

Tell Your Canadian Ambassador that you support the " Harb Seal Bill " . The time

to act is now!

 

For the first time in history, a Canadian politician is proposing a law to end

the suffering of baby seals. IFAW has applauded Senator Harb on this

ground-breaking move and now we want to mobilise support for this Bill from

around the world.

 

Please help us reach our target of 200,000 emails and letters in the next few

weeks: one for every seal that will be killed this year. This is our chance to

end the hunt forever.

 

Please email Canada's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern

Ireland, James R. Wright, and urge him to support the " Harb " Seal Bill to end

the hunt.
