Sounds good. Out of all those trees, we can grow only cherry and mulberry

outside here!

Here in florida, we can't have some cold weather types of plants.

Apples fail for example.

Also, we have a lot of drought, for example It didn't rain for four months

straight. I would get in trouble and pay a fine if I water when there is no

water. I have to think about that when buying a plant.

Ah - we are okay with apples here. I think we will have to change some of our plants for ones that can go longer without water, as we seem to have longer drier spells than previously.

I can't imagine not being able to grow apples. I have five trees, various

varieties, but I'm not sure what they are. One of them is a cooker, the others

good to eat without cooking.

Do you get many wasps in the garden? We used to have plum trees, and the garden

was literally humming.

I have apple trees and yes we do get the wasps - if anyone knows how to get rid of them in a not too mean way let me know. We have a Granny Smith and a Honeycrisp. Just planted a Bing cherry tree this weekend, 3 blueberries, and 2 huckleberries. We have 2 apricot, 1 nectarine, 1 pear (need another for pollinization), a Royal Ann cherry, Bing cherry, and an Italian plumb (prune). Anyone know where to get a good sized almond tree? I have a Mission TX and need another different kind.

I don't think you can rid of the wasps. In the end we got rid of our plum

trees!
