Vegan BLT

I just wanted to let all you Californians down there know your produce

is appreciated :-) Some nice looking heirloom tomatoes from the

Golden State jumped into my shopping cart -- perfectly ripe and

fragrant. (Oregon's tomatoes are, at this point, barely a twinkle in a

pollen grain's eye.) So, when I got home, I got out the bread,

veganaise, lettuce, and fried up some tempeh bacon. Yum! Just the thing

to eat before going out to garden in one of the first fine days of the

season.
