To just reduce your meat intake maybe by one day a week and this would seriously benefit the planet.'My family have been this way for years - vegetarians, that is.'Sir Paul was introduced to vegetarianism by his late wife Linda, who launched her own range of vegetarian frozen food.The campaign was prompted by a United Nations report, which says meat production is responsible for 18 per cent of greenhouse gas emissions. This compares with an estimated 13 per cent from transport.Hollywood star Kate Bosworth - a close friend of Stella - joined Little Britain comedians Matt Lucas and David Walliams, reality TV star Kelly Osbourne, singer Moby, pop star Sophie Ellis Bextor and husband Richard Jones, artist Sam Taylor-Wood and Marks & Spencer model Laura Bailey.A surprising guest at the event was Yoko Ono, widow of Sir Paul's late Beatles bandmate John Lennon.Yoko and Paul had a strained relationship in the Seventies, but have formed a friendship in recent years.Dressed in a sailor hat, Yoko embraced Paul as she arrived in the park.She said: 'Give up one day and then it will be two days maybe.
