Guest guest
Hello all, I've got a vegan cook book by Eva Batts from the mid 80s. A lot of her recipies refer to something called 'nutter'. I get the feeling its a margarine of sorts. The book is from the states so was wondering if anyone could shed any light on what it is and/or alternatives in the uk. I've done a brief google search for 'vegan nutter' but I'm sure you can imagine the results I'm getting back! Kindest regards Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
Guest guest
sorry, never heard of " nutter " are you sure this is from the colonies? Amazon, and several other sites, show her and her books as being from the UK. >he_is_buried_in_the_backyard >Jul 4, 2009 9:14 AM > > Nutter? > >Hello all, I've got a vegan cook book by Eva Batts from the mid 80s. Guest guest
I also thought she was from the UK but must admit I have never heard of nutter. The word would infer that it is some sort of nut butter. Jo , fraggle <EBbrewpunx wrote: > > sorry, never heard of " nutter " > are you sure this is from the colonies?
