I eat them mostly with breakfast, while I'm picking, and for lunch and dinner, but I have a potluck coming up and should probably make something more elaborate than bowl o'blackberries. Guest guest Posted July 22, 2009 Report Share Posted July 22, 2009 I love blackberry and apple crumble, or pie - eaten hot with custard, or cold with ice cream. For the crumble, depending on the size, use flour, half as much margarine and rub in until like big breadcrumbs. Mix in a tablespoon of sugar. Layer the sliced apples and washed blackberries in a greased dish, cover with the crumble and bake in oven on gas mark 6 for about 25-30 minutes.
