I found when I was pregnant and when I was trying to lose weight, I did best when I ate several times a day, say 6 times or so. I would not eat big meals at one sitting. I like to start my day with a bowl of quinoa (sp?), I love that stuff. If I am running short on time, I cook some quick cooking oatmeal. I have a smoothie once or twice a day made with almond milk, frozen banana slices (this makes the smoothie nice and creamy) and some other fruit like blueberries or pineapple. I eat a slice or two of sprouted grain bread or bagel with some almond butter. Lots of fruit. I like to eat a big bowl of fruit salad a few times a day. I tend to be more satisfied if I eat fruit salad instead of just a piece or two of fruit. I eat a bowl or two a day of cereal with rice milk. Lots of variety of healthy cereals out there!
