I don't think I've ever heard so much pro-animal discussion on so many animal-related topics in one segment. Way to go!

During this case, I've also been thrilled about how the focus has been on the abuse of the dogs just as much as being dangerous to the kids. I found it heartwarming that the man who spoke at the press conference and was holding one of the battered pit pups -- Sheriff Tom Dart? -- really cares about the dogs.

On a sour note, on one of the perp's cell phones (whose charge has been upgraded from a misdemeanor to a felony), the police found a horrendous video of a dog set on fire and being burned alive. They all should fry.
