Guest guest
Record number of humane research applications The DHT has received a record number of applications from scientists for grants to develop non-animal techniques to replace animal experiments in medical research. This is an 84% increase in applications from the previous year and the highest overall intake in our forty-year history. An increasing interest from scientists in developing new technology, which will advance medical research and replace animal experiments in the laboratory, is a positive and significant step forward. The successful grant recipients and projects will be announced in the Summer.
