I have heard recently a medical report that girls in china undergo puberty at an

extremely early age. It may be due to the high estrogen intake from tofu which

they eat a lot of I guess.

what do you think about that?

nah...

Soy has been a backbone of asian doets for thousands of years.

my guess its more due to low weight gain early in life. if you are underweight early in life, then you hit puberty earlier.

One, there's no estrogen in tofu.

Two, the only reports of early puberty I've " heard of "

were from places where there was high intake of dead hormone-laced

chickens.

Given that's all my mom cooks and I started puberty at seven that makes plenty of sense.I ate next to no soy. Maybe soy sauce.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry yarrowDate: Wed, 20 Jan 2010 18:48:37 -0800Re: soy, was Re: Greetingslhundrup108Jan 20, 2010 5:10 PMI have heard recently a medical report that girls in chinaundergo puberty at an extremely early age. This one comes up from time to time, and basically is completely

untrue. As far as hormone health is concerned, tofu is good for you.
