Guest guest
I love the Robin of Sherwood series - the ones with Michael Praed and then Jason Connery in. I haven't been able to watch other takes on Robin Hood since then. Guest guest
I've never read any Tolkien - I did enjoy the films (I know there were differences between the films and books) - so sometime I must round to reading them. I don't like Techno either. Guest guest
The one I started watching has the Jason Connery episodes. Though it's a 1985 series, the dvd contains recent interviews, which I watched first. It's interesting to see how much the actors changed in 20+ years. I don't think I've seen other filmed Robin Hoods. This Robin reminds me of Shakespeare's Prince Hal from the history plays -- the energy, love of pranks, and " gang " of unlikely allies. Haven't seen an episode with Herne yet. At 7:33 AM +0000 3/11/10, heartwerk wrote: >I love the Robin of Sherwood series - the ones with Michael Praed >and then Jason Connery in. Guest guest
Michael Praed was Robin before Jason Connery – in the same production. The Robin Hood stories are very old – probably older thank Shakespeare, and this production has kept the characters. Jo On Behalf Of yarrow 11 March 2010 07:49 Re: What are you .... Guest guest
I don't know any of the 'teenage' shows you mention, but I liked watching Buffy, and Hex - so maybe I'm a closet teenager too.
