Guest guest
It snowed heavily last year. Was it later? Guest guest
It rarely snows in London these days but it is usually January or February when it does. Actually I would have to say that we really do not know the meaning of the words heavy snow over here in the UK. Our problem is that snow happens so rarely that we are always totally unprepared for it and a snowfall of just a few inches throws us into complete chaos. Christie, shivering but snowless up in Scotland

Guest guest
Yes it's true - a few inches is 'heavy snow' for us! I've never been to Scotland Christie. Does it not snow very often there? Sorry if thisis a stupid question, but I envisage Scotland having snow every year, and many plces 'heavy snow' at that. Najma, waiting for tomorrow's 'heavy' snow fall! :-)
Guest guest
I live in Edinburgh which is by the coast and quite far south, so we don't get much snow at all. Further inland and up north in the Highlands it is a different matter though and they have fairly heavy snow most years. Enjoy your snow tomorrow, Najma - I think we're just going to get more rain up here L Christie Yes it's true - a few inches is 'heavy snow' for us! I've never been to Scotland Christie.
