Guest guest
Aside from their protein needs, cats require taurine and without this they will go blind. Trying to feed a cat a vegetarian diet is animal cruelty. If you don't want to feed your pet meat then don't keep a cat - how about a rabbit or a hamster? Certain dietitians are convinced about humans' need for meat albeit in small portions. I haven't investigated the topic, but I wonder if studies have been done on feeding cats a non-meat diet. Animal teeth, including cats, is usually pointed all the way to the back, good for tearing and human teeth are smooth in the back, good for plant life.
