Guest guest Posted December 21, 2009 Report Share Posted December 21, 2009 Easy and Tasty Roast 1 cup cashews 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 1 onion, peeled and sliced 4 cups brown rice, already cooked 2 cups tofu, cubed 1/4 cup parsley 1 cup plain soy milk or vegetable broth 1/4 cup quick oats 3 cups whole wheat bread cubed 2 Tbsp. olive oil 1 Tbsp. tomato puree 1 garlic clove, peeled 1/2 tsp. sweet basil Salt to taste 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning 1 stick celery with leaves, shopped In a blender or food processor, put cashews, sunflower seeds, onion slices, garlic, celery, parsley and soy milk or broth and process till smooth. Scrape into a bowl and add all the other ingredients. Mix well and put the mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 350º F. Serve with your favorite sauce or gravy.
