Guest guest Posted December 27, 2009 Report Share Posted December 27, 2009 I did most of my cooking for Christmas Eve, though I did make 2 batches of nice soft sugar cookies that everybody browsed on for 3 days! For Christmas Eve, I made Cheddar Ale Soup (I'll post the recipe separately) and rolls. I just used a Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain Bread mix in the bread machine on the dough cycle, then made it into rolls and baked them in the regular oven. We usually have those nasty brown-and-serve rolls, and it was funny how many compliments I got on them! I kept saying how easy they were, and how high in fiber and protein (mom and sister are big on high-protein diets). So anyway -- hopefully we won't be having brown-and-serve rolls again!
