Guest guest
I forgot to add that both of these recipes are from " Busy People's Down-Home Cooking without the Down-Home Fat " by Dawn Hall, 1997 & 2003. This is the recipe for the Oatmeal Cookies. I hope these two recipes help you out. Oatmeal Cookies These crunchy cookies taste to me like a granola bar even though they are not shaped like one. 1 cup applesauce 1 cup brown sugar, packed 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 4 cups rolled oats Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 cookie sheets with non-fat cooking spray. Combine the applesauce, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl and mix well. Stir in the oats gradually until well blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
