Breakfast was homemade hashbrowns - not my best (added to much oil) but still

pretty good

Snack - dried apricots and almonds the kids have been noshing homemade crackers

Lunch - spaghetti in sand, broccoli salad

for the spaghetti just cook noodles per normal - saute garlic in Olive Oil with

a bit of onion (I didn't have any so I used powder), when the noodles are done

toss them in the garlic and olive oil, add seasoned bread crumbs(the sand) and

paremsan

the broccoli salad was just broccoli tossed with raisins, sunflower seeds,

mayo, bacon bits (imitation), finely chopped onion (again used powder not the

best but does ok in a pinch), apple cider vinegar, sugar - all tossed together

to taste

Dessert was a small chunk of homemade fudge and a glass of water (it's really

really sweet!)

I'm liking the energy I'm getting and the faster healing from the surgery and

birth plus it's great knowing that Christina is getting a better diet in her

milk!

I'm thinking I'm going to make more banana bread this weekend and try the almond

apricot drink in the vegetarian baby cookbook - I'm so loving that book!  Even

the kids are liking the recipes from it.  I've already been drinking the banana

shake for years. lol
