Vegan Lunchbox Back-to-School Chocolate Chip Cookies review - and review of book

I'm sure someone has already posted these. They were good, kind of light in

texture -- but that's probably because I didn't know what pastry flour was

and figured to be safe I would just use cake flour... Through a quick

internet search, I have now learned how to sub cake and all-purpose for

I got the book at the library and I got a few recipes to try, but I don't

have kids, so I don't think I appreciated it as much as a parent would. She

also spends a lot of pages on sushi (which I've never cared for and wasn't

interested in). But the cookies were wonderful!

I wanted to get that book, but my library doesn't carry it and I couldn't

find it on sale. It looks pretty good, though.
