Guest guest
I decided for the New Year to cut out dairy and eggs and take a walk on the vegan side. Thanks to people here referencing the book How it all Vegan,(my husband bought it for me for Christmas), it has helped me transition easier. I have lost 4 pounds so far and have been doing well so far with this lifestyle change. So glad to have this group and all the great recipes. Guest guest
I'm doing that, too, Cassie. Have cheated a couple of times, but on the whole it has been much easier than I expected. I was surprised to realize how many meals I already eat that are vegan. On Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 6:39 PM, Cassie Dixon <roxy87cabrioletwrote: > > > Great Job!!! Guest guest
mee too! cheating and easiness I'm also trying to cut back a little on my soy consumption, but I think it is all doable. I was just getting too relaxed (lazy I like to call it) and now am back on track. And, I do so well during the day, yet in the evenings I am BAD with cravings (chocolate especially). Guest guest
My resolution is to not eat ANY meat at all, cuz last year three times i ended up going to mcd and got a big mac, the third time my bf had bought a bunch of double cheese burgers, so i ended up eating one, but so far i have a perfect angel, i'm so happy cuz my bf and three of his friends went to a resturant in big rapids and i didn't know what resturant is was gonna be, but it ended up being a steak house resturant, EVERYTHING had meat in it, but i ordered a spinach salad with cranberries, walnuts, goat cheese (i think....) with rasperberry vingerette dressing. It had chicken and bacon in it but i told the waiter to take the meat out, so i feel very good about myself, but i owe alot of it to my bf, even though he's not vegetarian...well he's semi vegetarian, but anyways, he's been buying me alot of vegetarian food and buying me my soy milk, so i'm very lucky
Guest guest
I had a little bite of cheese one day and then the other night at a restaurant, I had very few options, so just ordered something with cheese. The chocolate is a problem, though I did make vegan chocolate chip cookies with vegan chocolate chips, and they were good. I found some animal crackers that are vegan, so those help. I ate way too much crap one day when I stayed home because of bad weather, so I know what you mean about being bad in the evenings. I do much better at work where I have a routine! Hang in there, Cassie!
